Epson SX400

Epson printers have never been lacking in performance they have commonly been class leader in their print quality but their running costs have been some what expensive. I recent addition to the Stylus range are individual printer ink cartridges which means the cartridges can be change independently which is economical in the long run but the cost of the cartridges are not cheap. A set of Epson SX400 ink cartridges which is the latest multifunction printer from Epson costs £30 which is still expensive and the price hasn’t really come down despite the more economical ink system. Luckily there are now compatible Epson ink cartridges available for the SX400 which cost half the price of the original products. The SX400 still shares the high levels of performance that has been seen in Epson of the past and offers printing scanning and photocopying functions. Printing is probably the SX400 strongest feature as it has class leading 5760 x 1440dpi resolution which helps produced sharp results on all types of documents from standard text to high quality photographs. The SX400 scanning capabilities are almost as good as it’s printing and the scanner comes with photo editing software for breathing new life into tried old photographs. The photo copier makes use of the same A4 flat bed scanner and it produces accurate copies with good speed and quality. Overall the Stylus SX400 is a solid all-rounder, it doesn’t set the world on fire but you wouldn’t expect it to at this price.
